Delivery Overview

  • Delivery is available only within mainland UK.
  • Estimated delivery times and available services are detailed in the “Delivery Time Frames” section.
  • Special delivery terms apply to live plants and live animals.
  • We reserve the right to select the most suitable delivery company and service for each order.
  • Important: We are not responsible for any losses (including financial losses) due to delivery delays, damages in transport, or lost parcels.
  • The buyer is solely responsible for making claims to the courier company for any missing, delayed, lost, or damaged parcels. Once an item or animal leaves our premises (whether collected in person or by a courier), we cannot be held liable.

Delivery Time Frames

Live Plants

  • We are committed to delivering the freshest plants possible.
  • We receive fresh plant deliveries every week to maintain quality.
  • While we stock small quantities of popular plants, some plants are ordered specially for you from our suppliers to guarantee their freshness. These special orders will arrive with our next scheduled delivery.
  • Delivery usually takes 1–3 days, but in some cases, it may take up to 14 days to ensure the highest-quality plants reach you.

Dry Goods

  • We offer a wide range of products from various manufacturers and suppliers.
  • While we keep popular items in stock, we also sell products through multiple channels. This means that occasionally, high demand may deplete our stock faster than expected.
  • In such cases, delivery may take up to 14 days rather than the usual 1–3 days, as we restock to fulfill your order.

Live Animals

  • We stock a variety of fish and aquatic animals, but some are ordered specially for you from our suppliers.
  • Processing special orders requires additional time due to the specific requirements of live animal trade.
  • After animals arrive at our premises, they must go through a quarantine period to ensure their health before being sent to you.
  • Delivery usually takes 1–3 days, but in some cases, it may take up to 14 days to ensure you receive the highest-quality live animals.

Special Delivery Terms – Live Plants & Live Animals

  • Selection: Animals and plants are selected at random—specific choices are not available.
  • We always pack live animals professionally using thermal boxes and heat packs to ensure their safety.
  • We reserve the right to select the most appropriate courier and delivery service.
  • Temperature Restrictions:
    • Live animals will not be shipped if the overnight temperature is below 6°C.
    • Live plants will not be shipped if the overnight temperature is below 2°C.
    • If your order is delayed due to cold temperatures, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling.
  • Responsibility & Risk:
    • If you choose delivery, you accept full responsibility for any risks, including delays, losses, fish/plant condition upon arrival, and differences in appearance from photos.
    • We do not accept any claims regarding these matters. No exceptions.
  • Customer Responsibilities:
    • Once received, the customer is fully responsible for the welfare of the animals or plants.
    • The buyer must be available to receive the package at the agreed address and time.
    • Missed deliveries cannot be rescheduled. If you miss your delivery, your order will still be charged in full, and you will need to collect the package from the courier depot.
    • If you fail to collect your parcel from the courier depot within the required time and it is returned to us, you agree to forfeit your right to the parcel and its contents. No refunds or replacements will be provided.
  • Appearance & Size Variations:
    • Live animals may look different from photos, as we primarily sell young fish that may not yet show their full adult coloration.
    • Plant sizes and look may also vary from the images shown.
  • Pre-Purchase Responsibility:
    • Before purchasing live animals, please research their care requirements (living conditions, diet, tank setup, etc.).
    • If you have any questions, we encourage you to ask before making a purchase.

Personal Collections

  • We do not offer personal collections. All orders must be shipped using our designated courier services.

International Deliveries

Important Information for International Orders (Post-Brexit)

Due to Brexit regulations, we are unable to ship aboard:
✅ Live plants
✅ Live animals
✅ Frozen products

For all other goods, international delivery is available under the following conditions:

  • Minimum order value: £150 + VAT
  • Delivery costs: Calculated individually based on destination and parcel size/weight.
  • Customs & Import Fees: Any required customs charges or import fees must be paid in advance before we dispatch your order.
